Paypolitan has built a hybrid payment app launched in April 2021. Users can use the app to make either crypto or fiat payments. Having a decentralized architecture, the Paypolitan app is simply connecting sources of funds like wallets or bank accounts. The users’ funds stay where they are and the Paypolitan app simply initiates the payment from the source of funding to the destination account. Paypolitan is therefore using Open Banking APIs (PSD2 compliant) and is one of the first movers adopting it in Europe. The technology developed by Paypolitan is using blockchain technology to secure transactions and protect users from hackers. Paypolitan allows users to make contactless payments choosing their source of funding by default or on the fly individually. The app is available for free on Google Play and App Store. All product features are available as white label SaaS solutions.
