Key Updates for Futures V2.0 Copy Trading

Dear BitMart Users,

To better serve you with our futures copy trading services, the Futures V1.0 Copy Trading system will be taken offline on 1/8/2024. At the same time, we will launch Futures V2.0 Copy Trading. This change will have the following impacts on you:

  1. The front-end will hide the V1.0 Copy Trading entry and open the V2.0 Copy Trading entry. Existing positions in V1.0 will be retained and can be viewed on the V1.0 futures trading page. Master traders can continue to perform trading operations such as opening and closing positions on V1.0. V1.0 Followers will also continue to follow the trades and can manually close positions or change the orders they are following, but they will not be able to change any copy trading configurations. If you need to modify configurations, please do so before V1.0 Copy Trading goes offline. After V1.0 Copy Trading is offline, you will need to contact our customer service for assistance with any configuration changes.
  2. The identities of Master traders and Followers, copy trading relationships, and configurations will be transferred from V1.0 to V2.0. However, the copy trading history data from V1.0 will not be migrated initially. After futures V1.0 go offline, the data will be unified and merged. If the Master trader had futures transactions at V2.0 before the launch of V2.0 copy trading, the historical V2.0 transactions will be counted as the historical data of V2.0 copy trading.
  3. Master traders need to transfer assets to their Futures V2.0 accounts to perform copy trading operations. Followers need to transfer assets to their Futures V2.0 Copy Trading accounts to follow trades. If Followers do not transfer funds to their V2.0 Copy Trading accounts, V2.0 Copy Trading will fail. To ensure successful copy trading in V2.0, please transfer funds promptly after V2.0 Copy Trading goes live.
